This is a clip of an advanced course, where the client, ie the KTM has Sat Nav. He selected the shortest route from Llangollen to home address in Staffordshire. I knew things were not in my favour on the VFR when I saw grass in the middle of the road. Clip a bit misty at first, it does clear

Yes it was a road…
are u sure are u sure this is a road?
for the ktm it is lol thats why i want one
i got to be honest it’s one of the reasons i want a f650 just fed up with not being able to ride my bike when i want as the rain and bad weather makes it difficult on a sports bike plus i always worry about coming off when the weather is less than perfect especially since last summer ( if you can call it a summer )
I forgo to mention the KTM rider had done the Paris Daker rally and in the Army used night goggles fo riding in the dark. I was up against it…..
lol @typical irish roads poor guy on the viffer reminds me of riding my zx6 through country lanes when i got lost hence why i’m getting a bmw f650 with offroad tyres
No…
I have gone and bought a Zumo 550 myself…
It’s a proper road, a road!!!!!!!!! haha..great!
Have you used the Nuvo 550?
Hussaruk: Bandit owners are not known for either their IQ or manners mate. The moody part is cos they are always being overtaken by everybody. ; )
LOL. I have to do two miles of this to get to the main road every time I go out on my Hornet. Great fun innit?
get a life because I made that comment?? I think you need to get a life by actually feeling you had to reply pretty rudely to a new rider.
why did he need to do a lifesaver ? was a cow going to overtake him……..get a life buddy he was in a farmyard !!!
Sure most of the roads in Ireland are like that! lol
no life saver when he pulled away from the cow farmer.
Bet the lads at Tom Tom in Holland send you an extra turkey for Christmas after this !
Best regards,
Mike from Wales.
Zumo -> Set Avoidances -> Unpaved roads!?!
Good going on a VFR though Nigel I must say!
All the Best,
David
lmao!!! brilliant!
ROFLMAO.
There are times when ignoring satnav is the best option. The Zumo has done this sort of thing to me if left to its own devices and it WILL plan for the shortest route. It’s a good bit of kit if used properly. i.e. Use the computer to plan your route BEFORE you go!
