Over 5000 labor hours of hand-built craftsmanship goes into each aircraft, providing customers with an array of updated features including the use of 4130 steel framing and modern hydraulic toe brakes. The WACO YMF 5-D includes the computer-designed MT elliptical tip propeller and all-new, optional 300hp fuel-injected Jacobs radial engine to provide smoother, more optimized performance. In addition, the aircraft features the optional top-of-the-line Garmin IFR instrument package including the all-glass Garmin G600 Advanced MFD display, two Garmin 430 WAAS GPS units, GI-106a VOR/LOC/GS/GPS indicator, and a Mid-Continent 2 ¼” backup attitude indicator with battery system.
