Flight Training at Embry Riddle (garmin glass cockpit)
Practicing touch and go’s/go arounds in a cessna 172 equipped with garmin g1000 glass cockpit technology! This was a training flight with ERAU (embry riddle aeronautical university) located in Daytona Beach, FL. The video starts out with the takeoff from KDAB and then we move a little up the coast to practice our touch and go’s/go arounds at a nearby airport located in Flagler, FL. Enjoy!

Notta problem, they look for a 3.0 gpa and higher if I’m correct.
dude i want to go here really badly. im just wondering like is there a certain GPA i should have from highschool to get accepted? im sure there is and if you know thatd be great. thanks
great vid. i have six hours into my private.
@AMC0404
I would not come back to Canada and here’s why. For one, I’m originally from the States and I like the weather a whole lot better. Secondly, the commercial airline market is not as competitive as in the States. Meaning they have waaaaay more airlines then in Canada, resulting in a better chance of getting a job after graduating.

wow, I would definitely consider ERAU. Would you comeback to Canada after ERAU and build your hours or are you thinking of staying in the states, just out of curiosity, i’m in the same boat.

Not yet, but will be attending there soon! This was an introductory flight! (I know, the cost makes me want to puke, but I’m doing it through the ROTC program so it’ll be all paid for)
@VIR092
Thanks Mark, wish you luck as well!
@ionutshowcase
No, didn’t get around to filming the actual touch and go’s, but the training for this flight was classified as a touch and go/ go around training exercise.
Man, you go to ERAU? Its amazing! But I heard its like 50 000 a year!!
Very nice!
I wish you all the best of luck by the way!
Now that’s the good stuff! I can’t rememer the first flight I took in a Cessna…I was only two years old!
Matt, you have done it again. Good work! You’ll be a great JetBlue Pilot!
Kudos
