@RadioBull Sounds like the stall horn chirping. Why is that a “hopefully not”? During rotation on a windy day, the stall tab is very easily moved.
What is the sound at 0:47? hopefully its not a very brief stall “bleep”.
@flyingboy971 Between six and eight thousand.
what Altitude was u at?
Nice vid, thanks
if you dont mind answering a quick question how much different control wise cockpit load is this from a 172 thanks!
@skysurfer0805 This plane isn’t a rental– but the only place I saw one for rent was somewhere in Orlando I believe. I don’t think it’s for rent anymore, but I recall the price was around $250/hr. Not sure though, was probably around two years ago.
hi, how much would you pay for this plane if you got it for rental somewhere over in FL ?? ive flown about 70 hours in the c172 with g1000 around florida while i was building time for my ATPL
Start savin’ up! =]
I have flown a cessna 206 turbo and what a beautiful plane it is!! i love it so much! now i just need 500k to buy my own
haha
@n654pd ahk i wouldnt know then if u can oversquare a turbo’d engine… i just fly n/a 182s
Soseg,
The aircraft is turbocharged, and this is also a common powersetting for efficiency/performance. YouTube wont let me post a link, but search Google for “avweb oversquare” — it should be the first result.
@n654pd over squaring the engine?
very good video, greetings from brazil.
yeah…i figured that it would depend on how much it is flown. i have around 1200TT…im a CFII as well. i don’t think it would be too bad. it would be for business use too.
It’s going to all depend heavily on how often you fly, how much experience you have, and how you operate the aircraft if you want to meet the TBO.
how much does a turbo 206 cost per month you figure. is insurance good compared to other planes in its price range? hangar space probably can im sure be found cheap. i like that cessna puts hourly operating cost on their site, so that helps give me an idea.
Hi Tici,
In the same shot, you can see the settings were at 26/23. Indicated airspeed doesn’t really mean much when it comes to power settings or fuel flow at cruise. The true airspeed at such a low altitude looks to be about 135 with a groundspeed nearing 150. This works out to 15 or so gallons per hour.
Hi, nice flight and nice aircraft! I would like to know how was your MP/RPM settings to deliver only 122kt indicated. What fuel flow did you get at those settings and speed?
Superb landing.
Forgot about this comment. Looks like it was 8,000 initially, then down to 6.
Currently on the road with a painfully slow internet connection. Can’t look through the video to find out and the flightaware data isn’t showing up. I’ll look into it in a few days when home.
Couldn’t fully determine what altitude you were flying? 6k/7k?
Very nice VFR day!!! really good video!!! Congrats!!
Im doing a long cross country flight for my test before i get my liscense from St.petersburg whitted to boca, orlando and back!!
