The Garmin Forerunner 110 was created by Garmin with runners in mind. The principle concept behind the creation of this watch is that it should provides the features that runners want in a GPS watch while being simple to use and comfortable to wear while running.

Of course with a positive such as simplicity there are also some accompying negatives which I will get to below in the list of “cons” about this product.

But I do not want to lead with that list of cons because those reading this review may get the idea that I do not recommend this product which could not be further from the truth. Instead I will start with a lot of “pros” which could also be called “features.”

Pros of the Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Watch

(1) Accurately measures the distance that is ran by the person wearing the watch with real time GPS technology.

(2) Smallest GPS watch currently on the market. This helps to make it more comfortable to wear which is important when running long distances.

(3) Accurately measures the speed of the runner wearing it.

(4) Since the watch knows how fast the person wearing it is running, it can set a pace and let the runner know when they are running too fast or too slow.

(5) Provides advanced data on running history, mile markers, elevation, and much more when plugged into a computer.

(6) Eight hour battery life which is plenty of time for even the longest distance runner.

Cons of the Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Watch

(1) It does not take splits.

(2) Does not work as a compass.

(3) It’s front screen is not customizable.

(4) No “virtual partner” feature.
