You could have bought a nice car for what you spend on that pice of hardware. I love aviation.
Thanks! Great introduction. I’m planning to install a G500 in my Arrow.
Thanks! Great! I wish I still had my 310
@Saltlick11 Thanks. My install took four weeks and was done by Aerotronics in Billings, Montana. Top quality and very professional. -J
Nice job, great video. What is a good estimate of down time and cost? Were you happy with the shop? Who was the install shop? Thanks.
That’s cool. I am still undecided between the Garmin & Aspen units although I am leaning towards the Garmin. Looking forward to viewing more of your adventures!
@cptndavis I wouldn’t say it was overly complex. The Garmin required a fair amount of panel butchering compared to the Aspen. I would like to add the synthetic vision but the current price puts me off. I am hoping Garmin will lower the price someday!
Very nice tour, thanks for doing this. What was the installation process like? I heard it is somewhat complex for the G500/G600 unit?? Also will you be upgrading to the synthetic vision?
Jason, great videos. We had another customer call and tell us to get on youtube to see what you had done with the panel and G500 video. Cool to see you panel flying, have a ball!!!! Brandie
Hnag in there! Another blog will be coming mid April!

O.o that is very nice. I dream of another flight blog
That’s awesome! It does everything!!!
Very nice upgrade.
