In overall, this device performance after taken the price into consideration is excellent. Yes, you don’t get the predictive typing features which will auto complete what you’re trying to write. It also doesn’t come with traffic updates feature. However, those are all considerably minor setbacks and relatively easy to overcome. For instance, simply use add-on antennas and some subscription-based services to get the traffic updates. Moreover, in most cases, you don’t even need that predictive typing feature.

Garmin 255W is perhaps one of the best selections if you’re looking for a simple, lightweight and affordable portable GPS in the market.
