nice review
i got it on sale for $189 i think
how much did u pay?
i just got one of these mines the 4.3 inch wide screen i just wish it had a radar detector installed it would be worth every penny i spent on it
i wish it would give a warning bong before giving directions. that would at least allow you to prepare to listen, especially if you are talking or have the radio on.
Make sure you select a voice with “tts” or something like that after it.
damn it my to, wtf is goin on
jersey!
My 260 works just like the one without spoken street names…is there a setting to get the module to speak the street names, or does it work right out of the box?
I have question for those who has 260….
how to make it say the “go 1 mile then turn right”
because i just got one but did not say the miles!!! it says only the streen names.
thanks alot i just brought a 260W
Ok, so you drove to 150 Clove Rd, but where from?
Helpful, but can you get it to repeat a direction?
I have a Nuvi 260 also. Mine seems to work a little better than yours. Much less route confusion, recalculation, and false street locks. Could be a mapping issue in your area. or possible yours utilizes a different (GPS) chipset.
Of course when you alter your course or choose a different route it can take it a few seconds to figure out what happened.
Good review though. Garmin is the best GPS available!
