In my line of work, I often have to travel within the state for meetings with clients. Due to that, a GPS navigator is an indispensable device for my vehicle. After much consideration, I settled for the Garmin nüvi 260W 4.3-Inch GPS navigator. I have heard so much about the Garmin devices that I figured I can’t go wrong with a Garmin. After a couple of weeks using the navigator, I discovered that the device lived up to every hype there was about it. Here is a quick review of this model.

The navigation process and pre-installed maps on the Garmin nüvi 260W 4.3-Inch GPS navigator was extremely accurate. The maps and details were so amazingly detailed that even the driveway of my home was mapped out.

One of the main reasons that I choose this model was for its huge 4.3 inch screen. The huge screen makes it much easier to view while driving. It also makes it much easier to operate, with large screen icons on the menu. Like most Garmin devices, the menu configuration was pretty user friendly and very easy to figure out.

When I switch on the Garmin nüvi 260W 4.3-Inch GPS navigator, it takes a while for the device to get a satellite lock on. Fortunately, it receives a strong and uninterrupted signal once it is locked on. So far there wasn’t a single occasion where it has lost the satellite signal. All in all, the Garmin nüvi 260W 4.3-Inch GPS navigator fare pretty well for an entry level GPS device. If you are looking for a cheap, no frills navigator, this model will be perfect for you.
