that’s roads names are confusing
point of interest – DOG BONE? ::-D
Am in the process of downloading the maps to my Moto Droid. Will try the 7 day free testing. I hope the issues have been corrected since this video. I use Navigon and CoPilot for areas where I don’t have a data connection also when my wife and I are in Canada because of the roaming costs etc. If I use Google Map Navigaton in Canada it would be costly. I am glad that Google improved there cache of the Google Map Nav, that will certainly help.
@RorschachPT i was finding that awkward also, I he was not using the real navigation. for people wanting what it is there is actually a link here on the left that shows exactly what is the real navigation
in Portugal we have the satelite view in ndrive for a while now , isnt it avalable for you guys? i’m just asking cause since ndrive is Portuguese could be that they release here first, but it will come to you soon.
the ndrive doesnt have anything to do with the maps, tom tom, garmin would have the same error if they used the same map
The NDrive has much more to show… where is the 3d and real time navigation. Atlas map in that area must be improved.
@mocciat That’s a weird analogy. If the supplier provided bad product then you WOULD blame them.
@fumega tomtom does not have the issue at that spot. Th consumer does not know it is the map company problems. I think it is Ndrives responsibility to contract with an accurate map company. For instance if I own a Burger Joint and the burgers suck I can’t blame the meat supplier. Just giving my observations.
Hi, regarding to the U-turn problem, that’s not an Ndrive problem, that’s a Teleatlas (Map cartography provider) problem and Ndrive can’t possible do anything about it.
Because as you may know, neither Ndrive nor any other GPS Navigation company have their own (now TomTom has bought Teleatlas) maps, they license them from cartography companies like Teleatlas or Navteq.
TomTom would have the same problem.
Nice parking spot!
I think there are better options out there… nice review.
huskiessssss
Great review again. I like your cander and honesty. It really helps me make the right choice for me.
Nice review. Looks Luke it would work nicely
Nice Review Tom. I agree with you…if this were free, then of course I’d use it. The maps do need to be tweeked. And isn’t the whole point to having a GPS, having polished maps thus taking the most direct route?? So since it’s not nearly as polished as some of the others, I think I’d have to pass on this for now or at least wait for some updates. But thanks, good job on the review. =)
Another great review!
nice review….
