RC Speed Tests, Pulse 25e and Parkzone Habu, also Stryker speed flutter and glider crashes
Start this RCFreehold episode off with CD’s Stryker doing a speed flutter. You won’t believe how fast it’s actually doing this until you see the full speed clip. Next is the Glider we saw recently, where the motor spun off it on power. This time the motor stays on the plane until the 2nd crash, first one spirals in nice and soft. After that a quick look at my Trex 600 E sans canopy right now, after a crash and torque tube upgrade. Need a canopy standoff post. Just kicking up some dust with the ground effect after our field was whored out to the movie industry and they didn’t both cleaning up. And finally the two speed tests, CD’s Pulse 25e with a Turnigy Motor and 4cell, vs. the Parkzone Habu stock with gear, and the same 40C 4 cell. I’ll let you watch to find out their two speeds. Next speed test with the Habu I’ll take the gear off too. Thanks for watching, hoping to get more speed tests soon too, the Sundowers, and the TURBINE, P60 powered Bobcat. Should be interesting to see what it’s doing, and how high it goes too with the GPS onboard. The garmin gps I bought has software that you can upload to google Earth and see its actual path , height, top speeds and more. I’ll be doing a vid on that soon too. Ronin

@1BLADESHY I had carbon fibre supports from each wing to ALMOST the middle of the plane. I think it transferred all of the energy to one location. SNAP!
@rockonmyfriend A couple of flights later, the whole thing folded. No video, but very amusing
@warderseeker Turnigy 42C something. I think it arountd1400KV. HobbyKing says it’s the Power 32 equivalent.
@CaseyTrammell think it’s a forerunner 201 or 301, discontinued but newer models available. It’s a watch type one
What garmin gps were you using?
Wow Quite the flutter in that stryker .Good Choice in tunes Ronin as usual
@krispykat69 sorry, cubdestroyers motor, don’t know the numbers. 4 cell capable around 1400kv I think?
@pcgamer11 Think the song is called “Action” by Sweet Thanks for watching, we now have acouple Habu painted up like Blue Angel A4’s and are doing formation with them, looks awesome. Check out the latest vids to see em
what is the song called? great video btw. have a habu myself, its great, average id say pulling around 90+ mph? never speed tested mine
What turnigy motor did you use?
you could paint the bottom of the stryker with feathers and add a sort of bird tail! i would look like a bird flapping its wings haha
…
Just got my Garmin today.
Gotta love that speedy shipping.
Took it for a spin on my Stryker.
Got 90 mph with it.
Going to try it on my habu also.
This garmin is loads of fun.
Going to try the google earth mapping tomorrow.
@warderseeker Actually I was talking about the garmin. Very clever way to use it for speed checks in the planes.
I just ordered one a couple hours ago.
Looks like it is easier to check speed that way instead of the gun so I am going to give it a try.
Every time I watch your vids I buy something! lol…
@joehandsome99 You’re buying a Stryker with speed flutter next? LOL
)
Ya that pulse is really nice, flown it a few times. The turnigy motor does really well, for 35 bucks too
Thanks for watching man
…
Some how I missed this video, but found it while looking through your vids.
Those were some pretty fast flights.
I know what I am buying next.
Thumbs Up ~ Eric
Great vid. Thumbs up
What made the styker do that? I have one of those, but haven’t seen it do that yet !
@startazz thanks man, what a riot, too bad I missed the thing snapping in half LMAO
@Cubdestroyer Make sure you get a pic LOL
@tw8e60 thanks man, lots of cool stuff out there that day. That is a glider thats not meant for a motor I think, he has no idea where to put the battery or stuff, and everything is glued on to the plane LOL
@BellowingBeaver thanks dude, Turbine speed test is up
@youtwoba thanks bud, Garmin 301 is like 140 bucks, discontinued so even cheaper maybe. Software for it is great, watch for that vid
@beverke7 haha..thanks man. ya that thing was moving. Speed tests are up now, not much video of the two, but we’ll get more later, and a Habu gearless speed test too
@hamburgrd nah, just get a new body for 20 bucks LOL, glass just makes em heavier
@TinkerManRC haha…. 5 likes, thanks man. Great little GPS, wait till you see the software that you can get for it, shows the whole flight info like a black box
CD’s stryker looked the tits flapping away like that so it must of been moving some, looked like it had a mind of it’s own and wanted to go faster lol great video as always mate so thumbs up.
