I got my garmin up and running today just in time for the fitness test. I’m using a garmin Forerunner 305 which has been one of the more reliable heart rate monitors that I have used. You can easily see that they stay reasonably close with one sometimes getting ahead of the other. The Garmin measures using a chest strap.
