The special diagnostic page of Garmin GPS units

A lot of people don’t know about the special diagnostic page built in to their Garmin GPS unit. Just hold down enter (hold the joystick in on etrex units) and power the unit on. I will demonstrate the diagnostic page in this video.

If the old 1 is out of warranty you should open it up and clean the joystick button contacts with alcohol and see if that fixes it.
I didn’t! lol! I don’t like the Colorado or Oregon series very much – too modern for me.
In a Garmin Colorado just hold down the center button along with the power button. Incase someone didnt know…

As far as I know, there is no way to see the unit temperature in normal operation.
